Our state having quota Two singles and one doubles in each category of maindraw .So the champion and runnersup of the singles event as well only champion in doubles event will be elligible to participate in the fothcoming Master Championship to be held at Cochi.Players are requested to confirm their participation through email to shuttleodisha@gmail.com by 4th February2017.Thr partivipants should have BAI id .Those who have not BAI id they should submit the application form by 31st January2017 to the Secretary,Orissa State Badmnton Association for further action.

Badminton Association of India is pleased to allot 41st Masters (Veteran) National Badminton
Championships to Kerala State Badminton Association. The following are the details.

EVENTS ORGANISED:
The Tournament will be organised in following age groups. Players having the specified eligibility
date of birth with BAI ID numbers are eligible. Those not having BAI ID may apply immediately
through respective State Associations.

MODE OF COMPETITION:
All the matches in the main draw shall be played best of three games of 21 points on a rally point
system. The qualifying round matches in best of Three (3) games of 15 points each without
extension.
FACILITIES : Players has to make their own Accommodation. Sales canteen facilities Shall be provided at the Venue by the Host Association on payment.
HOTEL DETAILS :Participants may make their own reservations.
PRIZES : Individual prizes will be awarded to all winners / Runner up players in all events.
ENTRIES
The Entries shall be received by BAI through email by the Affiliated Units . (Direct entries from the
players are not valid.) RBI is eligible to participate.

No entry shall be accepted unless; the player has been allotted a Player ID and has submitted the
age proof as per the BAI Competition regulations.
Once the entries are duly verified, the complete list in a computer file shall be placed (M & Q) in
BAI Website.
Minimum 6 entries are required to conduct the event.
ENTRY FEES / ELIGIBILITY:
· Each member Association of BAI is eligible to send two singles, one double and one Mixed
Double in each event in 35+,40+,45+,50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+.
· A player is eligible to participate in not more than 3 events (1Singles, 1 Double &1 Mixed Double)
There is no entry fee for Main draw.
The entry fees for qualifying participants shall be as follows.
Singles events of all categories Rs. 500/- per player
Doubles events of all categories Rs. 1000/- per pair
TECHNICAL OFFICIALS :
The Court Officials shall be nominated by BAI.

In addition to the above, the Host Organisers shall nominate one Local Deputy Referee, one
Umpires’ Control, one Announcer and One Media relation officer to assist the Referee in conduct of
the matches.
DRAW:
The qualifying draw shall be made at BAI Office. Using the Tournament Planner software. Main
Draw will be held at the venue on 1st March 2017.
EQUIPMENT SPONSOR:
As per contract of BAI with Yonex, the organisers shall be provided with 150 tubes of AS-30 Yonex
Shuttles. Additional shuttles shall be purchased by the organisers.
Yonex will be entitled for A boards, Banners and one sales stall at the Main venue as per BAI
contract. The cost of making the A boards, banners and sales stall shall be borne by Yonex.
