Star rating of championships held under aegis of Orissa State Badminton Association

The criteria for holding the ranking championship under the aegis of Odisha State Badminton Association is given below:
The championship should be conducted

1              ·            In line with BAI Ranking Points System.

·         Tournament Shall be approved by OSBA

·         The star rating of any of the All Odisha Level Prize Money / Prize Value Tournament for the Seniors (Men & Women) shall be as under:

Rs. 10,000 or more but not more than Rs. Rs.20,000	1*
More than Rs. 20,000 but not more than Rs. 30,000	2*
More than Rs. 30,000 but not more than Rs. 40,000	3*
More than Rs. 40,000 but not more than Rs. 50,000	4*
More than Rs. 50,000 but not more than Rs. 60,000	5*
More than Rs. 60,000	6*
Senior State Championship	7*

·         The star rating of any of the All Odisha Level Prize Money/ Prize Value Tournament for the Juniors  (Under 19 Boys & Girls OR Under-17 Boys & Girls ORUnder 15 boys & girls OR Under 13 Boys & Girls) shall be as under:

Rs. 5,000 or more but not more than Rs. 10,000	1*
More than Rs. 10,000 but not more than Rs. 20,000	2*
More than Rs. 20,000 but not more than Rs. 30,000	3*
More than Rs. 30,000	4*
Junior / Mini State Championship	5*

8.            Criteria for Star Rating of OSBA Tournaments:

·         Indoor Facility is mandatory.

·         Category-wise Prize Money as above.

·         Facilities provided to Officials and Players like food, lodging, transportation, etc.

·         Overall expenditure on conducting the tournament.

·         Star Rating shall be circulated in the Circular.

·         Without indoor facilities if the  championship is conducted by covered courtwith cement/mat  surface then the championship wi be treated as registered championship   wil be treated as 1star.
