NOW A DAYS THE ID WHETHER STATE OR BAI IS A MUST FOR PARTICIPATION IN ANY CHAMPIONSHIP CONDUCTED BY STATE OR BADMINTON ASSOCIATION OF INDIA.

BAI  ISSUED A NEW FORMAT FOR PLAYERS AGE CERTIFICATE WHICH IS AVAILABLE IN BAI  SITE AS WELL IN OUR BLOG. PLAYERS  BELONGS TO U19/17/15/13YRS HAVE TO GIVE  THE AFFIDAVIT FOR AGE AND NEW FORMAT OF BAI.

WE FOUND LOT OF PLAYERS  HAS NOT GIVEN BOTH  .SOME  PLAYERS GIVEN ONLY AFFIDAVIT OR ONLY NEW FORMAT.

PLAYERS WILLING TO PLAY IN VETERAN IN DIFFERENT CATEGORY ARE ALSO REQUESTED TO GIVE THE NEW FORMAT.


BAI HAS ISSUED CIRCULAR THAT TO GET BAI ID MINIMUM 30DAYS REQUIRED FROM THE DATE OF RECEIPT OF APPICATION DULY  CHECKED BY STATE ASSOCIATION

ODISHA TEAM FOR EASTZONE CHAMPIONSHIP TO BE HELD AT JALPAIGUDI

PROMOD -THE GOLDEN BOY OF ODISHA BADMINTON

Pramod Bhagat was born in Attabira Village of the then undivided Sambalpur district ( now in Bargarh), from childhood he was inclined to sports but at the age of 7 tragedy struck and he was affilicted with polio. Having the disability didn't hinder his zeal for sports he earlier used to play cricket but as he grew he took up the sport of badminton and soon it became his passion. He along with his two close friends used to practice on the roof of a friend's house as there was no court available in Attabira. Gradually he participated in outdoor tournaments in & around Sambalpur district and won many titles. Meanwhile he participated in national para badminton championship in 2006 for the first time. He has won numerous national titles in both singles & doubles and has won world championship medals in 2009,2013 & 2015 apart from winning bronze medal at Asian Games. He is a graduate with ITI degree too. 
He has won gold in singles & silver in doubles at last week's BWF para badminton championship in England making India proud once again.
He is the member and coach of Sambalpur badminton association He had given coaching to subjr players at Baripada also

ODISHA STATE TEAM FOR EAST ZONE CHAMPIONSHIP-2015 AT JALPAIGUDI WESTBENGAL

The team will leave on  21-09-2015 t 06.45 am from cuttack by 22641 Shalimar Express

The Manager of the team is Mr.Subhash Ch. Mishra and coach is Mr Manoj Ku.Sabat(ph no09861034436)

Players are requested to report at Cuttack station by6.00 am.on 21-09-2015

All payers are requested to confirm their participation by 16th sept.2015 through mail to shuttleodisha@gmail.com so that we will replace those who will not participate with other players
