There was a writ application filed
against our association by some people along with some fraudulent district
associations to tarnish the image of our association on the plea that Orissa
State Badminton Association done lot of irregularity .Even the apex sports body
of our state become a party to it by supporting them along with some of our
defunct associations
However Badminton Association of india after sending their
two observers gone through the election process and given affiliation to
continue as their affiliated body.We continued to play a proactive role for the
growth of Badminton in our state without
any irregularity which is proven by time.
The allegation was baseless and they could not able to proove before the Honourable Highcourt
The case was filed in Highcourt vide W.P.(C) No.20718 of
2015 and after long process Honourable Highcourt
of Odisha dismissed the case on 16-01-2018
We are thankful to our patrons/players/our district
associations who supported us during the case proceedings in our endeavour to make the game of Badminton to a mass movement in Odisha
