Players are requested to renew/new registration their state id as per our circular in April2018.

But after a long time of such circular there areexcept few players have not send their id properly as per the BAI guideline yet. Forwhich we found players are not concerned about this.

Without Renewal/new registration they can't participate in any tournament or Championship approved by the Association nor their entries will be sent to any National or Inter-national events on behalf of the Association.

This is to inform to all the  players that as per the decision taken in last AGM of our Association  who are registered with our Association and engaged /sponsored by others they should get a clearance from their employees/sponsorer that they will not able to represent them without permission from Orissa State Badminton Association. (A proper form of such declaration has attached here with below and they have to properly fill it and to submit before OSBA) They have to submit the same during registration/renewal. .

In past we found players selected for state team did not represent the state in the pretex that they are representating their employer/sponsors which has affected the badminton in the state.Even some times if they could not able to represent the state which ultimately affected players of the state.

If they are playing for such engaged/employed/sponsored Organisation/company/department, then association will debared from registration/renewal of the players without assigning any reason. Association reserves right to registration/renewal of players towards the development of the Badminton sports in odisha. The Association is doing so because the association wants the clarity and does not allow any player to play from two affiliated unit of Badminton Association of India. By which the rest player who is in under development may get proper chance.

In past we found players selected for state team did not represent the state in the pretext that they are representating their employer/sponsors which has affected the badminton in the state and also the players who have not been employed or sponsored yet by any employer/sponser. Even some times if they could not able to represent the state but they represented the employer/sponser organisation/company/department which ultimately affected players of the state.

The Association is also going very strict on player that in all state championship/ranking/tournament which is affiliated by the OSBA all player have to with proper dress code as following instruction, otherwise the player may be fined by the association without any warning……………………………………………………….

•             The player have to wear proper dress code as per BWF Codes.

•             The Doubles Partner have to wear same colour dress in a entire match compulsory.

•             On the player’s dress the player District name is necessary on his back with his name as per the BWF Rules in all STATE championship/ranking/tournament which areaffiliated by the Association.

•             No other sponsor’s/advertisement’s name he cann’t print on dress without any intimation to the Association.

•             On the selected player’s dress for National events the State name is necessary on his back with his name as per the BWF Rules in all NATIONAL championship/ranking/tournament which are affiliated by the Association.

The player who  will do any distraction with all these principles which are mandatory as per the BWF Rules must be charged with fine by the OSBA, and if he fails to give the fine he may debarred from the registration, because all these are for the respect/dedication/ principles/respect towards the badminton and towards the badmintion players.

So the decision has taken  for the growth/development of badminton in our state and all these are the principles/codes of Badminton.
